The Leofoto CFC-01 is a replacement lens collar and foot for the Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM, a favourite zoom among Canon wildlife photographers. It has a built-in Arca-Swiss dovetail, so the lens clamps straight into an Arca head or gimbal without a separate plate, plus 3/8" and 1/4" threaded mounting holes and a Quick Detach (QD) socket for a compatible strap or sling. Two safety stops on the underside prevent accidental release if the quick-release clamp is only partly open. A textured silicone pad makes the foot more comfortable to hold when carrying the lens, and the low profile helps stability on the tripod. It is made from hard-anodised aircraft-grade aluminium and weighs 210g. It suits photographers who move between tripod, hide and sling through the day and want one secure, quick mounting point on the lens. Please note this is a camera-lens accessory: it replaces the foot on the lenses listed and does not fit spotting scopes or binoculars.
