The Leofoto G20 is a low-profile 3D geared head that gives independent control over pitch, roll and horizontal rotation. Each axis has its own fine gear adjustment, giving micro-level precision for architectural, macro, studio and panoramic photography, and the pitch and roll movements each offer plus or minus 15 degrees of adjustment for levelling and fine composition. The X and Y pivot points are designed to coincide, keeping the rotation radius small so the framing holds while you fine-tune. A 75mm base provides 360 degree panning for stitched panoramas. The head is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and is quoted as working from minus 30 to plus 60 degrees Celsius, so it copes with a frosty morning on the hill as well as a warm studio. The top clamp is Arca-Swiss compatible. At just 81mm tall and around 680g, with a 3/8 inch mounting thread and a maximum load of 20kg, the G20 keeps the camera low over the tripod for stability while still giving geared precision. It is a good fit for landscape and architectural work where small, exact corrections matter more than speed.
