The Leofoto G4PROM is the newest head in the G4 series, building on the G4 Pro with the upgraded GR-3 geared panning adapter. The GR-3 has a larger extended precision knob for better grip and finer control, plus adjustable panning tension. The head itself combines the free movement of a ball head with the precision of a geared head. With the X and Y axes unlocked the camera moves freely, but each axis can also be adjusted on its own. Both tilts share one centre of rotation, keeping the pivot radius small so the composition holds while you fine-tune. With the locking levers set, gear-driven vertical and horizontal adjustments give fine control, while quick-release clutches allow fast, large moves. Dual 360 degree panning lets you level the platform at the base and make precise panoramic rotations at the clamp, and two spirit levels at 90 degrees are easy to see from low down. The clamp is Arca-Swiss compatible. It stands 130mm tall, weighs around 820g, has a 60mm panning base and a 3/8 inch thread. Leofoto recommends equipment of no more than 2.27kg (5lb).
