The Leofoto LH-47 is a mid-size, low-profile ball head built around a 47mm ball and rated to 22kg. The split-body design and oversized main knob give a firm, positive lock, while a separate friction knob lets you set the drag to suit the load so nothing flops over when you loosen off. An independent pan lock frees the base for smooth panning, and the panning base is laser-engraved at 2.5-degree intervals for repeatable positioning. A 90-degree drop notch allows portrait orientation or steep angles. Machined from solid aluminium and hard anodised, it keeps the load close to the tripod for stability and suits spotting scopes, binoculars on an adapter, thermal and night-vision kit or a camera with a long lens. Supplied with an Arca-Swiss style screw clamp and the QP-70N quick-release plate.
