The Leofoto Mr Q LQ-324C is the larger 32mm model in the Mr Q series, supplied with the LH-40 low-profile ball head. Like the rest of the range it gives you two set-ups in one: a removable centre column for extra height, or a flat apex platform for a lower, stiffer stance when stability matters most. The four-section carbon fibre legs pack down neatly for carrying. With the centre column fitted the kit reaches a working height of 1685mm, and it goes down to 165mm for low-level work, folding to around 580mm. It is rated to 15kg, so it will comfortably carry a camera and long zoom or a full-size spotting scope. The LH-40 head has a 40mm ball, an independent pan lock and an Arca-Swiss style clamp with quick-release plate, and the head alone is rated to 20kg, making it simple to switch between a camera, a binoculars adapter or a scope on an Arca-type plate. Rubber feet and spike feet are supplied, along with a multi-tool and a carry bag, so the kit is ready for the field straight from the box.
