The Leofoto NF-06 replaces Nikon's original lens collar foot on three Nikon Z super-telephotos: the Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S, Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S and Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S. Designed to improve on the original foot, it has a lower profile and lower centre of gravity for better balance on a gimbal or ball head. An Arca-Swiss dovetail is built in, so the lens drops straight into an Arca clamp with no separate plate, and there are 3/8" and 1/4" threaded holes plus a Quick Detach (QD) socket for a compatible strap or sling. Two safety stops on the underside prevent accidental release if the quick-release clamp is only partly open, and a textured silicone pad makes the foot more comfortable to carry by hand. Machined from hard-anodised aircraft-grade aluminium, it weighs just 130g. For serious wildlife photographers working long glass from hides and high seats, it is a lighter, more secure mounting point. Please note this is a camera-lens accessory: it replaces the foot on the lenses listed and does not fit spotting scopes or binoculars.
