The Leofoto QS-45 Quick-Link Set is a quick-release system for changing tripod heads: fit the receiver base to the tripod, fit the connecting plate to the head, and the head locks on or off with a simple twist in seconds. It means you can travel with one tripod and several heads, and swap between them as the job changes. The set includes one QS receiver base and one Q connecting plate, each with anti-twist set screws to prevent unwanted rotation, and Leofoto lists 4mm and 2.5mm Allen keys with it. Both parts are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and use a 3/8"-16 mounting stud, so the system fits heads and centre column extensions. For stalkers and wildlife watchers, it makes it quick to swap a fluid or pan head for a spotting scope onto the same tripod as a ball head or gimbal for the camera, without unscrewing heads in the cold or wet. Extra connecting plates let more heads share one tripod.
