The Leofoto Ranger LS-364C is a heavy-duty four-section carbon fibre tripod with 36mm top tubes, designed to carry big glass while staying light enough to walk in with. Its no-column design puts your head directly on the apex for maximum stiffness and lets the legs splay out at three angle stops (23, 55 and 85 degrees) for working close to the ground. The legs are 10-layer carbon fibre (36/32/28/25mm) with CNC-machined, hard-anodised 6061 aluminium parts and quick quarter-turn twist locks, and the updated angle stops can be operated one-handed. The LS-364C reaches around 1480mm, weighs about 1.77kg and is rated to 25kg, giving plenty of headroom for a large spotting scope, a heavy telephoto lens on a gimbal or a thermal imager on a suitable head. A 3/8in mounting stud takes your choice of ball, fluid or gimbal head, with 1/4in accessory sockets on the apex for phone holders or other add-ons. A removable ballast hook, interchangeable 3/8in feet and a carrying case are included. Supplied as legs only.
