- Hangs between tripod legs for ballast or storage
- Fits leg tubes up to 50mm
- Max span 680mm; strap adjustment up to 180mm
- Rated to 20kg load
- Hook underneath for extra weight
The Leofoto RB-2 is a universal rock bag that hangs between the legs of your tripod, giving you somewhere to add weight for stability and a handy place to keep small kit off the ground. Fill it with stones, a water bottle or your pack to anchor the tripod in wind, or use it as a storage tray for gloves, lens cloths, spare batteries or a rangefinder while you are set up. Leofoto rates it to a 20kg load and describes it as rip proof. Adjustable straps wrap around each leg and suit leg tubes up to 50mm, with a maximum span of 680mm between strap ends and strap adjustment up to 180mm, and there is a hook underneath for hanging extra weight. For stalkers, shooters and wildlife watchers using a spotting scope or long lens on exposed hill ground, coast or the range, extra weight low down noticeably reduces wind shake.
