The Leofoto SF-01 replaces the standard collar foot on a range of Sony FE telephoto lenses with a lower-profile foot that brings the centre of gravity down for better balance and handling. Leofoto lists it for the Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS, FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II, FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS, FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS and FE 50-150mm F2 GM. The foot has a built-in Arca-Swiss type dovetail, so the lens clamps straight into an Arca head or gimbal without a separate plate, plus 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 sockets and a QD socket for clipping on a quick-detach strap or sling. Two M3 screws are included for use as optional safety stops, and the foot is hard-anodised aircraft-grade aluminium. It is a neat upgrade for wildlife photographers working from a tripod or hide, or carrying a long lens on a sling between stands. Please note this is a camera-lens accessory: it replaces the foot on the lenses listed and does not fit spotting scopes or binoculars.
