The Leofoto SF-02N is the second version of Leofoto's replacement foot for the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS, revised to address design points of the original SF-02. It takes the place of Sony's own collar foot and gives a lower profile and lower centre of gravity, which helps the lens balance better on a gimbal or ball head. An Arca-Swiss dovetail is machined into the foot, so the lens drops straight into an Arca clamp without an extra plate, and there are 3/8" and 1/4" threaded holes plus a QD socket for attaching a compatible quick-detach strap. Two safety stops on the underside stop the lens sliding out if the clamp is only partly open. The foot is hard-anodised aircraft-grade aluminium. The 200-600mm is a popular lens with deer and bird photographers, and this foot makes it quicker to move between tripod, hide window and sling. Please note this is a camera-lens accessory: it replaces the foot on the lenses listed and does not fit spotting scopes or binoculars.
