The Leofoto Summit LM-324C is a four-section carbon fibre system tripod for people running heavier cameras, long lenses or full-size spotting scopes. Its hollowed-out spider keeps weight down to around 1.62kg while still supporting up to 25kg. The top of the tripod takes a removable 75mm platform with 1/4in and 3/8in threads, and a 75mm half-bowl adapter is included so you can fit a fluid head and level it quickly, which is ideal for a spotting scope or video head. The legs are 10-layer carbon fibre (32/28/25/22mm) with twist locks, independent leg spread and three angle stops, so you can drop down to around 75mm for low-level work or reach 1450mm at full extension. Folded, it measures about 520mm. A bullseye spirit level helps with set-up, and 3/8in accessory threads on the spider take arms or holders. Rubber feet are fitted as standard, with stainless steel spikes supplied for soft ground, along with Allen keys and a carry bag. The LM-324C is supplied without a head.
