Nikwax Conditioner for Leather is a water-based, sponge-on treatment designed to restore and protect smooth and full-grain leather footwear. Applied directly from the 125ml applicator bottle, it nourishes dried-out or cracked leather, restoring suppleness without over-softening the upper. At the same time it adds durable water repellency, helping rain and mud bead away from the surface rather than soaking in. Unlike solvent-based products, it is safe to use indoors and can be applied to wet footwear straight from the field — no need to dry boots first. The water-based formula is biodegradable, non-flammable and free from fluorocarbons, making it an environmentally responsible choice for regular boot maintenance. It is particularly well-suited to boots fitted with breathable membranes such as Gore-Tex, as it revives breathability alongside conditioning and waterproofing.
