The Pixfra IR Torch adds infrared illumination to the Volans digital day and night riflescopes, so the scope keeps working long after the light has gone. This is the 940nm version, which produces no visible glow at the emitter - the covert choice where a red spot at the front of the scope would give you away. The trade for that is reach: it illuminates to 200 metres against the 850nm model's 250. Power comes from a single 18650 lithium cell, and because it is replaceable rather than sealed in, a spare in a pocket keeps you going through a long night instead of tying you to a charging cable. The torch fits using a removable bracket, available separately, so it comes off in seconds when it is not wanted. Supplied with a three year Pixfra warranty.
