The Pulsar Ultra-X850 is an interchangeable infrared illuminator designed for use with Pulsar Digisight Ultra N400th digital night-vision riflescopes and Forward F400th front-attachment devices. Emitting at 850 nm — the long-range end of the near-infrared spectrum where digital sensors are most sensitive — it adds significant reach in low-light or total-darkness conditions without producing the visible glow associated with white-light lamps. Power comes directly from the host NV unit via a dedicated socket connector, so no separate battery is required. A three-step power adjustment lets you dial output up or down to suit the terrain and ambient conditions, whether you are out on the hill after foxes or sitting over a bait site. The bayonet-style mount seats and releases in seconds. Rated IPX7 for water resistance and tested across an operating range of -25°C to +50°C, it handles the weather Scottish hills and East Anglian frosts alike can throw at it. Dimensions are 103 x 38 x 53 mm at a weight of 130 g.
