A digital night vision monocular with a built-in IR-Illuminator and a selection of display modes to choose from; black/white, black/white increased contrast, green (simulates tube-based NV) and red (helps eyesight quickly adapt to night conditions after using the NV device). Users are also able to adjust the brightness of the screen so the settings suit their specific personal preferences.
The video out jack allows users to connect external recording devices to the unit as well as connect and view the device through a TV. A tripod socket as well as an Mil–STD 1913 weaver short rail enable mounting different accessories to the unit, including auxiliary IRs, sound amplification and other systems.
