The Sitka Face Mask is a lightweight, open-mesh camouflage cover designed to conceal your face when a stalk or a calling sequence brings an animal in close enough to spot the give-away of pale, moving skin. Made from a quick-drying, lightweight stretch mesh (88% polyester/12% elastane), it breathes well and dries fast, so it doesn't become clammy or restrictive during a long sit or a hard climb. The open weave keeps hearing and peripheral vision largely unaffected, while a flap over the mouth allows you to call without lifting the mask or breaking concealment. An elasticated band at the top secures it in place and lets it be pulled up or down quickly as a shot presents itself, and the whole mask packs down small enough to carry in a pocket until needed. Finished in GORE OPTIFADE Concealment Elevated II, developed with ungulate vision research for treestand hunters working the mid-to-late season, the pattern keeps the wearer broken up against a backdrop of bright sky and thinning foliage at engagement ranges of 80 yards or less.
