The Stalon X149 is the longer version of Stalon's X108, a Swedish-made telescopic rifle moderator. Its extended front section gives more sound reduction than the X108, so it suits stalking and other hunting where performance matters most. This version has a 1/2"-20 UNF thread and is rated for .270, .30-06 and .308 Winchester.
The telescopic design sits 127 mm back over the barrel, so only 149 mm extends past the muzzle, which keeps the rifle balanced and easy to carry. Stalon quotes around -32.5 dBc noise reduction on .308. The moderator weighs 394 g, is 49.1 mm in diameter and fits barrels up to 22.5 mm.
It is built from anodised aluminium with a stainless steel first baffle and a titanium thread. The front is interchangeable with Stalon's 108 front, and the moderator also reduces felt recoil.
