The Western Rivers Mantis Pro 100 is a compact, remote-controlled electronic game caller built for predator and pest-control work. It carries 100 pre-loaded, realistic animal sounds on 32MB of internal memory, played through a 4" high-output speaker rated up to around 110dB — loud enough to carry across open ground. Everything is run from the long-range remote, which docks onto the caller itself for transport and controls playback, volume and call sequencing from up to 300 yards away via a 2.0" LED-backlit screen. The unit stands on folding swivel legs and is built from durable ABS, with an external power jack and sync connector plus a mounting bracket so it can also drive a motorised decoy (sold separately) in time with the calls. Power comes from 8 AA batteries, not included. Worth noting: the sound bank was recorded for the US market and includes species such as elk, moose and wolf that have no UK quarry application — UK buyers will get most use from the fox and corvid calls, and should always check what they intend to call against current UK law before use.
