Abbey Maintenance Gas 144a is a low-pressure, highly lubricated propellant gas designed specifically for the maintenance, storage and repair of gas airsoft magazine internals. Made in the UK by Abbey Supply, it uses a suspended lubricant technology that keeps the oil dissolved within the gas itself — so wherever the gas travels inside a magazine, the lubricant follows. This means every o-ring, valve and seal receives consistent nourishment without the need for stripping the magazine or applying oil by hand. During storage, the gas actively prevents o-rings from drying out and losing their seal, making it ideal for magazines that are set aside between skirmishes. It also serves as an effective maintenance gas for shooters running dry gases such as propane or Abbey Sniper Gas, replenishing lubrication between uses. If a magazine is already leaking due to dried o-rings, a few shots of Maintenance Gas can often re-seal them and restore function. The compact 270ml can fits easily in a tool box or kit bag.
