The Gehmann 781-N is a 30mm ISSF-legal eyeshield for target shooters who want to blank out the non-aiming eye without covering it completely. It fits onto an existing rearsight, held in place by a rubber collar that grips around the thread or lock collar of your iris, so there's no separate mount or bracket to fit — the eyeshield simply pushes on to the sight you're already using. Blanking off the off eye cuts peripheral distraction and lets the dominant eye settle on the sight picture, which is why eyeshields like this are standard kit on air rifle, smallbore and full-bore firing lines. Built to Gehmann's I.S.S.F. eyeshield specification, it's legal for International Shooting Sport Federation competition as well as club and county-level matches. This one is finished in solid black for full coverage — Gehmann's range also includes a lighter, translucent shield for shooters who prefer some light through it rather than total blackout.
