The Gehmann 840 is a fully adjustable alloy handstop for target rifle shooters, clamping onto the accessory rail under the fore-end to give a fixed, repeatable anchor point for the sling and leading hand. Unlike a fixed stop, the 840 pivots for vertical angle, moves left and right, and slides along the rail to your preferred distance, so it can be set up precisely for prone or three-position shooting rather than forcing your hold to fit the kit. A removable spacer lets you choose between two widths to suit the thickness of your hand, and the steel sling swivel is stepped out from the body on a press-button quick-release for a comfortable, uncluttered grip. Machined from silver-anodised aluminium alloy with a non-slip surface finish, it weighs just 135 grams and fits all standard accessory rails, so it drops onto most target rifle fore-ends without modification. It's supplied with a Gehmann alloy carry case to keep it protected between range sessions.
