The Gehmann 844A Multi-Height Sight Base Set is a foresight raiser block built for Anschütz target rifles, letting you fine-tune front sight height to suit your rail, barrel and stock set-up. Machined from aluminium alloy with a black anodised finish, it fits all standard Anschütz sight rails and covers a height range of 13mm up to 28mm, built up using the supplied packing discs (four each of 1mm, 2mm, 4mm and 8mm) with matched-length Allen screws for a secure fit at whatever height you settle on. A lateral shift of up to 5mm gives fine windage adjustment at the base itself, useful alongside the sight's own controls, while spring-loaded clamps hold the block firmly on the rail so zero doesn't shift under competition use. Laser-engraved reference markings let you record and return to a known setting session after session — handy if more than one shooter uses the same rifle, or you're testing different sight heights before settling on your final position.
