The high-cut upper gives greater structure to the shoe, as well as protection and support for the foot. The protective rubber rand protects the foot and the upper against external impacts. Stability, comfort and impact protection are provided thanks to the midsole with waving module insert and tred with Vibram Megagrip compound. Recommended for more intense hunting activity on plains and in mid-mountain areas.

30 miles straight out of the box

I've walked a few miles stalking on the last days of the season for hinds in my new Crispi GTX boots. Feels like I've got pillows around my feet. The difference compared to my last two pairs of Douvres is night and day! I used to be thinking I wanted to get home and throw my boots off after 10 miles in the Douvres, but the Crispis are still very comfortable. I hunt mostly in a forest on the Outer Hebrides which is on peaty, boggy ground. I noticed I have more grip too with the tread pattern compared to the Meindl boots. I know which boots I'll be buying in the future. They are a bit more expensive, but I'd say totally worth it.

CRISPI hunter gtx

I am a 9 normal shoe size so allowed a size larger 10 to use a sock with a padded foot. On trying on it was a very tight fit so went for a normal sock which was ok.
Usually try before buying maybe go up 2 sizes never been a size 11 before.
