The Cyclops Poseidon is a rechargeable LED headlamp built around a 20W CREE XHP5.02 LED capable of 2000 lumens on its top setting, throwing a useful beam out to 200 metres — plenty for spotting ground game or picking a path back to the vehicle after dark. The lamp head is removable from the headband and powered by a single 21700 battery, finished in a rugged anodised housing carrying an IPX4 rating against rain and splashes. A simple single-click switch steps through 40%, 15% and 3% power before off, while a long press fires the full 100% boost for 40 seconds — or until the switch is clicked again — handy for a quick, bright look at something before dropping back to a lower, battery-friendly setting. A double press switches to strobe. At 220g including the battery it's light enough for extended wear, and a built-in magnet lets the lamp head be detached and stuck to a metal surface for hands-free use around the vehicle, larder or workbench. A practical, no-frills lamp for stalking, lamping and general outdoor use after dark.
