The Lee Precision Collet Die for .22 Hornet is a single neck-sizing die designed for reloaders who want to extend brass life and improve concentricity. Unlike a conventional full-length sizing die, the collet die works by squeezing the case neck inward with a precision collet rather than pushing it through a sizing button. This gentler action works the brass less aggressively, keeping it closer to the dimensions of your chamber and reducing the risk of work-hardening over successive firings. The result is tighter neck tension and better bullet run-out, which matters for the precise, close-range shooting that .22 Hornet is well suited to — whether that is rabbit and squirrel control at moderate distances or target work. The die carries the standard 7/8"-14 thread, so it fits any standard reloading press. Sold individually as the collet die only, it is intended for use alongside a seating die and, where needed, a full-length sizing die for cases fired in other rifles.
