The Lee Precision Collet Neck Sizing Die for 6.5 Creedmoor is a precision reloading die sold individually, designed for handloaders who want to neck-size only — leaving the body of the case fire-formed to the chamber for the closest possible fit and the lowest runout. A steel collet squeezes the case neck against a precision mandrel, aligning the neck concentrically with the bullet seating axis and significantly reducing case runout compared with full-length sizing. Because only the neck is worked, brass lasts far longer and case prep between firings is minimal — no case lube is needed. Neck-sizing is the method favoured by precision target shooters and deer stalkers who reload for a dedicated rifle: cases sized this way should only be used in the rifle they were fired in, and the die is not suited to semi-automatic or pump actions. The die carries the standard 7/8–14 thread and fits the vast majority of reloading presses.
