The Richter Optik Exact Scope 3-9x42 AO is a straightforward, good-value riflescope for stalking, vermin control and target shooting on rimfire and centrefire rifles. Its 3-9x variable magnification and 42mm objective lens give a clear, adaptable sight picture at ranges from close cover to open ground, while the adjustable objective (AO) lets you dial out parallax error from 10 yards to infinity for a sharp image at any distance. A Mil Dot reticle gives a simple reference point for holdover and rough range estimation. Built on a compact 25mm (1 inch) tube around 34cm long and weighing 490g, it mounts easily without adding excess bulk to a rifle. Eye relief runs 3.1 to 4 inches, with a field of view from around 34.5ft down to 13.5ft at 100 yards depending on the zoom setting selected. Every Exact Scope ships with free flip-up lens covers to keep the glass protected between outings. It's a practical, no-frills option for shooters who want dependable glass and true Mil Dot holdover without paying for features they won't use.
