The SmartRest Wireless Switch 2.0 is a remote-controlled on/off switch that turns a laser or torch on and off wirelessly at the push of a button on its handheld remote pad - handy for switching a light or laser from inside a vehicle when it's mounted on a SpydaBot or similar rig. It runs on its own built-in rechargeable 9V battery, enclosed in the switch's black housing box, so it needs no external power source and is ready to use straight out of the box. Wiring it up is straightforward: a supplied DC end connects to your light device, and because SmartRest use a DC plug throughout, the same switch can be swapped between a laser, a torch or another 12V device rather than being wired permanently to one. A battery-saver rocker switch on the case should be left off between uses - switched on, the 9V battery will drain within 12 to 18 hours. In the box you get the remote pad with its own battery, the module switch unit, the 9V rechargeable battery ready-connected, a USB-C charging cable, DC male and female adapter plugs, and a magnetic mount adhesive set.
