Vortex's Switchview SV-5 throw lever clips onto the magnification ring of a riflescope so you can wind the power up or down with a flick of one finger, without breaking your cheek weld or hunting for grip on a bare ring. It's built for scopes with a 46mm (1.81 inch) magnification ring diameter, covering every configuration of the Viper PST Gen II and Razor HD AMG riflescopes, plus the Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44 FFP and 6-24x50 FFP. The lever itself is machined from skeletonised aluminium and hard-coat anodised, so it's tough enough for hard use in the field yet weighs next to nothing on the scope. Fitting takes only a couple of minutes with the supplied Allen key and needs no gunsmithing. For anyone running a variable-power scope for stalking or fast target transitions - swapping between a wide field of view for a moving animal and full magnification for a precise shot - a throw lever like this makes the change instinctive rather than fiddly, and it can be removed just as quickly if you want the scope back to standard.
