The frame's padded, mesh-lined shoulder straps and wide MOLLE hip belt carry the weight low and stable, while the L70's wide, open-topped Cordura sack – with webbing loops around the rim and buckled compression straps down the front – swallows awkward loads: a boot-load of firewood on the way in, a roe deer carcass on the way out. At 1.43kg the setup itself adds little to what you're carrying. As part of Vorn's modular Deer Load System, the DLF frame takes further attachments as the job demands – add the 50-litre B50 or 20-litre B20 bag for more capacity, or fit an LS load shelf on the outside for extra stability with heavier, bulkier items.
