The Woolpower Sit Pad Mini is a small, packable seat pad made from recycled felt — offcuts collected from Woolpower's own base-layer and mid-layer production in Sweden and pressed into a dense, warm material rather than sent to waste. At 19.4 x 25.8cm and 5mm thick, it's sized to slip into a Fjällräven Kånken Mini or the side pocket of a rucksack, giving you somewhere warm and dry to sit whether the ground is frozen, wet or simply cold. The felt contains a minimum of 50% merino wool, and wool's natural ability to trap air and shed moisture means the pad keeps insulating even once it's damp — unlike foam or plastic pads, which go cold and clammy underneath you. It rolls or folds flat for the pack, and because the material comes from genuine production waste rather than fabric dyed to order, the colour varies slightly batch to batch — Woolpower call it 'recycled grey'. A useful bit of kit for a stalking high seat, a break on wet moorland with the dogs, or anywhere else you need a dry perch without carrying a full sit mat.
