The Vortex Diamondback HD 10x32 is a mid-size roof-prism binocular built for hunters who want proper glass without carrying a full-size 42mm pair all day. Vortex's HD optical system, paired with fully multi-coated lenses and dielectric prism coatings, delivers sharp resolution, good contrast and accurate colour even as the light starts to fade. A 6.5° angular field of view (340ft at 1000 yards) gives a decent picture for tracking moving quarry, and close focus down to 6ft makes it useful at short range too. The body is argon-purged and O-ring sealed, so it's fully waterproof and fogproof, with a rubber-armoured, shockproof housing and Vortex's ArmorTek coating protecting the exterior lenses from scratches and grime. The true open hinge design keeps weight down to 16oz while staying comfortable to hold for long spells behind the glass. Eyecups twist up and down for use with or without glasses, and the binocular is tripod-adaptable for static glassing. Supplied with a rainguard, tethered objective lens covers, neck strap, deluxe case and strap, and a lens cloth.
