This fixed-power Long Eye Relief (LER) eyepiece is a replacement accessory for the latest generation of Vortex Razor HD 65mm and 85mm spotting scope bodies, swapping out the standard zoom eyepiece for a single fixed magnification built for range and precision-shooting work. Fitted to a Razor HD 65mm body (RS-65A, RS-65S) it gives a fixed 18x, and on an 85mm body (RS-85A, RS-85S) a fixed 22x, in both cases backed by a generous 31mm of eye relief. That long eye relief is the whole point: on the firing line it lets a shooter or spotter read bullet impacts, call wind and track mirage while staying comfortably positioned behind or alongside the rifle, rather than having to duck in close to the eyepiece as with a standard zoom unit. At 3.1 inches long and 13.9oz it is a compact, easily swapped accessory rather than a complete scope, and it carries Vortex's unlimited, unconditional VIP lifetime warranty. Note that this eyepiece is built specifically for the 65mm and 85mm Razor HD spotting scope bodies and is not compatible with the 50mm Razor HD models.
