Fitted to any standard 1913 Mil Spec rail, it angles a red dot sight, laser, torch, sling swivel or a set of open sights off to the side of the main optic, so a shooter can bring a close-range or back-up aiming point into play with a small roll of the wrist rather than a full change of grip or head position.
