This is the Vortex quick-release riser mount for the Venom red dot sight — a mounting accessory, not the sight itself, which is sold separately. It sets the Venom at the correct lower 1/3 co-witness height on any AR-platform rifle fitted with a standard 1913 Picatinny rail, so the dot lines up correctly with the rifle's iron sights. A positive-lock lever gives quick, one-handed fitting and removal while holding a consistent return to zero, useful for anyone who swaps optics between rifles or wants to run back-up iron sights underneath the dot. Built from Type III hard-coat-anodised, machined aluminium, it's engineered to be light in the hand yet tough enough for hard use, and the anodised finish resists water, dirt and general knocks in the field.
