This twin pack bundles two 300ml bottles of Nikwax Tech Wash, the market-leading technical cleaner for waterproof and breathable outdoor clothing. Ordinary laundry detergent leaves behind a residue that masks a garment's durable water repellent (DWR) finish, causing the fabric to soak up water and lose breathability — Tech Wash is formulated without that residue, so it cleans thoroughly while reviving existing DWR and restoring breathability at the same time. It's suitable for Gore-Tex, Windstopper and Nikwax Analogy fabrics, plus other waterproof, windproof and fleece clothing and gear, including synthetic sleeping bags. Use it in the washing machine — 100ml in soft water areas, 150ml in medium/hard water areas, for up to two garments — or apply it by hand, then air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows; don't dry a garment before reproofing it. With regular use you can typically clean a garment five or six times on Tech Wash alone before it needs reproofing with a waterproofer such as Nikwax TX.Direct. It's water-based and non-flammable. Two bottles keep a stalking or shooting wardrobe properly maintained through a full season without running out mid-wash.
