These are replacement gas strut ball joints for the Eagle Eye NitroForce shooting rest, supplied as a matched pair. The NitroForce rest works by mounting nitrogen-charged gas struts on a pivoting axle, and each strut connects to the frame through a ball joint that lets the head swing smoothly left, right, up and down as you track a target. Over time, and with regular use in the field, these ball joints can wear or work loose, which introduces play and takes the edge off the rest's steadiness. Fitting a fresh pair restores the slack-free, fluid movement the rest is designed around, so you can settle the crosshair and hold it without the head drifting. Each is a simple mechanical part with no calibre or gun-fit considerations, making this an inexpensive way to keep a NitroForce rest performing rather than replacing the whole unit.
