The Lyalvale Express Super Game 42g No.1 Fibre Wad is a heavy-load 12 bore game cartridge built for driven days where high birds demand maximum authority at range. Loaded in a true 70mm (2¾ inch) case with a 16mm case head, it delivers 42 grams of No.1 lead shot at 1,350fps via Vectan single-base progressive powder — the same French-made propellant used across the Express game range. The No.1 shot size makes this a natural choice for tall pheasant, partridge, duck and geese, where larger pellets maintain energy and penetration at distance. The fibre wad, combined with a 4mm waxed overpowder card, ensures consistent chamber pressure, an efficient burn and open patterns at the muzzle — with no plastic wad downrange, it is equally at home on shoots with a strict fibre-only policy. The shot itself is manufactured to Express specifications at a specialist lead facility, with antimony content and sphericity checked throughout production for uniform patterns and clean kills.
