The Lyalvale Express Super Light is a 12 bore clay cartridge built around a 21 gram shot load in a 65mm (2½in) case, delivering 1400fps velocity from a slow-burning Nobel Sport Vectan powder. Designed specifically to minimise recoil, it suits beginners, lighter-framed shooters, or anyone shooting high volumes on the clay ground — long Sporting days, skeet, or high-volume practice sessions where a heavier load would punish the shoulder. This fibre wad version uses a waxed biodegradable fibre wad and a 4mm waxed card obturator, thicker than the industry standard, which improves obturation and protects the barrels of fine English guns. The slow-burning Vectan powder keeps chamber pressures low, making the cartridge gentle on vintage and side-by-side actions. No.7.5 shot provides a tight, consistent pattern well suited to close to mid-range clay disciplines including Sporting, Down the Line, Sport Trap, and Compak Sporting. The red EEC-manufactured case is loaded to consistent, clean-burning standards and is fully biodegradable, making it the right choice for grounds that prohibit plastic wads.
