The H&N Slug HP Heavy Sampler Set gives high-power PCP air rifle shooters a practical way to identify the best performing weight for their barrel without committing to a full tin. All slugs in the set share the same .218" head diameter (calibre .22 / 5.53 mm) and sit in H&N's Heavy range, which extends the available weight options at the heavier end of the .22 slug spectrum. Each slug features H&N's hollow-point design with a large meplat and soft lead construction, delivering controlled expansion and reliable energy transfer on impact — the key qualities for clean, humane kills when hunting with a high-power airgun. The product was developed and tested in close collaboration with Air Hunter Gerhard, a respected name in airgun hunting and competitive shooting. The sampler format means you can run several assorted heavier weights through your rifle in a single session, compare group size and point of impact, and then commit to the weight that groups best — a sensible first step before buying in bulk.
