The Hi-Tec Apex Lite Low is a lightweight, fully waterproof hiking shoe built for comfort across a range of outdoor activities. A polyester textile upper with suede trims and a breathable mesh underlay is backed by Hi-Tec's Dri-Tec waterproof, breathable membrane, keeping feet dry in wet UK conditions without the shoe feeling clammy. Underfoot, a compression-moulded EVA midsole sits above a lightweight, durable fork shank for flexibility with stability, while the M-D Traction outsole grips confidently on the way up and the way down. A removable, contoured Ortholite footbed adds cushioning and can be swapped out for an orthotic if you need one. A padded collar and gusseted tongue keep the fit comfortable and stop grit and debris working their way in, finished off with a ghillie lacing system and rustproof hardware. Low-cut for a shoe-like feel rather than a boot, it suits dog walking, low-level walking and general outdoor use where you want dependable waterproofing without the weight or ankle coverage of a full boot.
