The Hi-Tec Ravine Lite is a lightweight waterproof walking boot built for everyday hill-walking, dog walks and countryside tracks. The upper is oiled full-grain leather, tough enough to shrug off wet grass, mud and rough going while staying supple and comfortable from the first wear. Underneath it, Hi-Tec's own Dri-Tec waterproof, breathable membrane keeps feet dry in the wet without trapping heat and moisture inside the boot, so they stay comfortable over a long walk. A soft foam collar wraps the ankle to stop rubbing and irritation on longer outings, while a direct-attach dual-density PU midsole and outsole cushion every step and add flexibility underfoot rather than a stiff, heavy platform. The boots lace up to a standard, regular fit and are made in Europe for a consistent fit and finish. This is a lighter-weight boot than a full four-season mountain boot, better suited to lowland trails, farm tracks and everyday walking than technical scrambling or winter conditions.
