The Hill Dry-Pac Refill Sachet is the genuine replacement desiccant charge for Hill's Dry-Pac moisture-removal system, fitted to Hill PCP hand pumps to strip moisture out of the air before it reaches your rifle or HPA bottle. Each sachet holds a precise measure of the colour-changing desiccant medium used inside the Dry-Pac cartridge - the beads start orange and turn green as they absorb moisture, giving a clear visual sign that a refill is due. Typical replacement interval is every three to six months, more often in humid conditions or with heavy pump use. Refilling is straightforward and needs no tools: open the Dry-Pac cartridge, tip out the spent medium and pour in the sachet's contents. Each sachet is vacuum-sealed, so unopened stock keeps indefinitely, making it worth holding a spare or two rather than running the cartridge on exhausted medium - which stops removing moisture and lets damp air straight through to your rifle's cylinder or regulator, the cause of internal rust and corrosion over time.
