These are Hornady CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) bullets for reloading 30 calibre rifle cartridges, not factory-loaded ammunition. Each projectile is a one-piece, monolithic copper-alloy bullet of .308in diameter and 110 grain weight, packed 50 to the box (item 301914). Being a solid copper-alloy design with no lead core, the CX is the choice for stalkers and hunters who need or prefer a lead-free bullet, and the construction holds together on impact, retaining roughly 95% of its original weight for deep, reliable penetration on medium to large game. The Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic heating to keep a consistent ballistic coefficient through the bullet's flight, while optimised groove geometry reduces bearing surface and copper fouling. For this 110gr load Hornady lists a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.312 and a sectional density of 0.166. As components, these bullets are intended for home loaders working up their own .308 Win, .30-06 or similar 30-calibre loads, and require an appropriate firearm and reloading setup. Pair with your chosen brass, primer and powder to develop an accurate, lead-free hunting round.
