These are Hornady CX component bullets for handloading, sized 7mm at .284" diameter and weighing 150gr, supplied as a box of 50 projectiles rather than loaded ammunition. CX stands for Copper alloy eXpanding, a one-piece monolithic design machined from a copper alloy that cannot separate the way a bonded or cup-and-core bullet might, delivering deep penetration and around 95% weight retention on game. The polymer Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic heating to hold a consistently high ballistic coefficient through the full flight, while also giving each bullet a uniform meplat for tighter bullet-to-bullet and lot-to-lot consistency. Optimised groove geometry along the shank trims bearing surface and fouling without sacrificing aerodynamic performance, helping accuracy and barrel life. Being fully lead-free, the CX suits stalkers and hunters working in areas that mandate non-toxic projectiles, and the 150gr weight in 7mm calibres such as 7mm-08, 7x57 and 7mm Rem Mag covers everything from medium to large game.
