The Hornady Digital Hygrometer keeps a constant check on conditions inside your gun safe or cabinet, so you can catch damp before it turns into rust on barrels, actions and optics. The large touchscreen display shows temperature and relative humidity, and records the high and low readings for both, switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit. That high/low memory is the useful bit in a UK gun room: it tells you what happened overnight or while you were away on the hill, not just what the air is doing the moment you open the door. Fit the supplied quick-connect bracket to the inside of the safe door or wall to keep shelf space clear and make the unit easy to read and lift out, or use the fold-out stand to sit it on a shelf or the cabinet floor. Compact at 5 1/8 x 3 1/4 x 1 in (about 13 x 8.3 x 2.5 cm), it slips into even a slim rifle cabinet and runs on two AAA batteries (not included). Pair it with a dehumidifier and you will know your moisture control is actually working.
