The Hornady Quick Detach Universal Mounting Plate System is a reloading bench accessory that lets you fit and remove presses and other reloading tools in seconds, rather than bolting each one down permanently. You mount the aluminium blocks to your bench or table for a strong, stable clamp, then attach your press or tool to a plate that locks into the base. Cam locks hold the plate solid during use but release quickly, so you can swap one tool out for another without unbolting anything. Fit a separate plate to each press or tool and you can rotate through them on a single base, which makes the most of the space on a crowded bench. The mounting hole patterns are laid out to suit a range of Hornady reloading equipment, including the Lock-N-Load AP, Iron Press and Classic presses, the 366 Auto shotshell press, bullet feeders, the Cam Lock trimmer, the concentricity tool and the neck turning tool. A practical upgrade for any handloader who runs more than one tool at the bench.
