Hull's Pro Twenty is the company's dedicated 20 gauge competition range, and this is the shorter 65mm (2½") case loaded with a 21 gram charge of hardened 7.5 shot at 1400fps. It's built on a biodegradable fibre wad rather than a plastic one, so nothing but card and fibre is left on the ground after a day at the clay ground. The 65mm case and lighter 21 gram load make it the natural choice for older, lightweight or side-by-side 20 bores not chambered for the longer 70mm case, and for shooters who want a softer-recoiling round for a full day of sporting clays, skeet or trap without the load stepping up to a 28 gram charge. Hardened shot keeps more pellets round rather than deformed, which holds the pattern together and cuts down on flyers at longer ranges. It's a genuine 20 gauge competition load, not a scaled-down 12 bore round, and the biodegradable wad suits grounds that don't allow plastic.
