Hull's Pro Twenty is the company's dedicated 20 gauge competition range, and this is the 70mm (2¾") case loaded with a 28 gram charge of hardened 7.5 shot at 1400fps. It sits over a biodegradable fibre wad rather than a plastic one, so there's no plastic left on the clay ground or the drive after a day's shooting. The heavier 28 gram load gives a fuller pattern than the shorter 21 gram Pro Twenty and suits sporting clays, skeet and trap shot with a 20 bore, as well as 20-gauge game shooting where a slightly bigger charge is wanted. Hardened shot holds its shape better down the barrel, which means fewer deformed pellets, tighter patterns and cleaner breaks at range. As with the rest of the Pro Twenty range, it's built to give 20 gauge shooters genuine competition performance rather than a scaled-down 12 bore load, and the biodegradable wad keeps it usable on grounds with an environmental policy against plastic wads.
